It’s Me, the Dollar. We Need to Talk.

You’ve heard from the Fed.

You’ve heard from economists, influencers, politicians.

But you’ve never heard from me.

So let me introduce myself properly.

I’m the U.S. Dollar — and I have a few things to get off my chest.

Once upon a time, I was something to believe in. Backed by gold. Grounded in trust. A symbol of earned value — not manufactured illusion.

But somewhere along the way, I got repurposed.

Turned into a tool.

A means of quiet control.

When they started creating trillions of me out of thin air, they softened the language.

They called it “liquidity.”

“Quantitative easing.”

“Stimulus.”

Not theft. Not debasement. Not dilution. Just plain old policy.

You didn’t complain… Because why would you? It didn’t feel like robbery — because it didn’t happen all at once. They did it slowly. Strategically. One “emergency” after another.

And every time they printed more of me, your savings bought a little less.

Your rent took a little more.

Your paycheck stretched a little thinner.

But they gave you someone else to blame. Greedy CEOs. Global instability. Supply chains. Never the system. Never the source.

And certainly never me.

But I’ve been in the room for all of it.

When they inflated assets for the wealthy. When they suppressed rates and called it recovery. When they exported me like a weapon, then acted surprised when other nations started plotting my replacement.

I know how this ends.

Because I’ve seen it before.

The world sees what’s happening, too. They’re building alternatives. Stockpiling gold. Creating workarounds.

And you?

Still pretending this is just another cycle. Still hoping someone else will sound the alarm. So let me be clear — I’m the alarm.

I’m telling you now:

I don’t work the way I used to.

And I’m not here to protect you.

I’m here to serve them.

Unless you decide to break the spell.

Stop assuming I’ll hold my value. And start asking who benefits when I don’t.

There’s still time to prepare — but only if you stop waiting for permission.
